Last month's draw against Norway (1-1) in the World Cup Qualification gave us only one point to collect. Despite this Albania climbed another spot in FIFA's World Ranking table that was updated a couple of days ago. We lost one point from the earlier update, but still we managed to place ourselves on number 37, a place we share together with Japan. The reason why we were able to climb is simply because there were other countries that lost their games and slipped down which helped us take a step up. This is a historical moment for Albania, we've never been this far up in the list and number 37 is our best placing ever since the list was introduced approximately 20 years ago.
